Bridget Cucksey
Your freelance digital designer and technical problem-solver
I’m Bridget, founder of Made By CUX, a digital design and strategy studio based in Embrun, Ontario. I help businesses across Canada build clean, modern WordPress websites, strong visual identities, and marketing systems that support real growth. My work focuses on practical design that is clear, functional, and built to move businesses forward.
I am also a Canadian veteran with 16 years of experience in the Forces tech sector, specializing in communications, IT systems, and technical troubleshooting. That environment taught me precision, structured problem-solving, and how to stay steady when things break or when timelines are tight. These skills directly shape the way I work today. I stay calm, analyze the issue, and build solutions that actually make a difference.
By combining military discipline with creative strategy, I build digital tools that increase visibility, improve reliability, and give good businesses the advantage they deserve.

Practical Design, Built for Real Businesses
After leaving the military, I moved fully into the design and tech world. My communications background, IT experience, and love for creative problem-solving came together naturally and shaped the direction of Made By CUX. Today I work with startups, service providers, and growing companies that need dependable websites, strong branding, and digital systems that actually support their goals.
My process is direct and hands-on. I research, prototype, refine, and test until everything works the way it should. With tools like WordPress, Elementor Pro, JetEngine, Affinity, and other modern design platforms, I create branding, websites, and digital assets that look clean, function smoothly, and feel intentional without unnecessary complexity.
I also build direct booking systems that help clients reduce or eliminate platform fees. My priority is to give businesses real ownership of their tools and the ability to grow without losing revenue to third-party marketplaces.
I am expanding deeper into cybersecurity, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and advanced technical troubleshooting. My focus is on helping businesses secure their systems and make smarter decisions online. Long term, I am working toward becoming the kind of senior technical consultant people call when something mission-critical isn’t working and they need someone who can diagnose and fix the issue fast.
