Ready to Get Started?
Have a website, branding, graphic design or Tap-to-Connect project in mind? Complete the form and tell me what you need. I review every inquiry myself and reply within one business day.
Website inquiries receive a detailed questionnaire before a call is booked. It covers your content, goals, timeline and any tools the website needs to connect with. This helps me identify potential problems and confirm the project is ready before either of us commits.
If the project is a good fit, I’ll send the next step. You’ll work directly with me, Bridget, throughout the project.

FAQ
Frequently
Asked Questions
Here are answers to some of the questions I get asked most often. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch.
What makes Made By CUX different?
I believe your website should work for you, not the other way around.
When your project is complete, you’ll have access to your website and the platforms your business relies on. I don’t believe in gatekeeping or making clients dependent on me for every small update.
If you want to manage your own website, I’ll teach you how to use the parts you’ll actually need, like updating text, changing images, publishing blog posts, or adding new pages. You shouldn’t have to pay someone every time you need to fix a typo or make a small change.
If you’d rather have me take care of everything, I’m happy to do that too. The difference is that it’s always your choice.
I also believe in recommending solutions that make sense for your business. If a simpler or more cost-effective option will meet your goals, that’s the one I’ll recommend.
What services do you offer?
I help businesses build, improve, and maintain their online presence through a range of digital services, including:
- Custom WordPress websites
- Website redesigns
- eCommerce websites
- Learning platforms and online courses
- Membership websites
- Business directories
- Booking systems
- Logo and brand design
- Marketing materials
- Website hosting
- Website maintenance
- Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Google Business Profile optimization
- Tap-To-Connect digital business cards
- Website security improvements
- Technical troubleshooting and ongoing support
Not sure exactly what you need? That’s perfectly okay. We’ll figure it out together.
How much does a website cost?
Every project is different, so I provide custom quotes based on your goals, the number of pages, and the functionality your website requires.
A simple informational website has very different requirements than an eCommerce store, learning platform, membership website, business directory, booking system, or other custom solution. Features, integrations, and content all influence the final investment.
Some websites also require third-party software or premium plugins, such as booking systems, memberships, online stores, learning platforms, or other specialized tools. If that’s the case, I’ll explain any ongoing licensing or subscription costs before the project begins, so there are no surprises later.
After our discovery call, you’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining exactly what’s included, along with the project timeline and investment.
Why do you recommend WordPress?
WordPress powers over one-third of all websites on the internet because it’s flexible, scalable, and built to grow with your business.
I can edit and maintain existing Wix and Squarespace websites, but I generally recommend WordPress for new projects because it gives businesses greater flexibility, more ownership, and access to thousands of integrations without being tied to a single platform.
Will I own my website?
Yes.
Once your project is complete and final payment has been received, you own your website, domain name, content, logo, branding, completed marketing materials, and any final approved designs created specifically for your business.
Preliminary concepts, draft designs, mockups, and unused creative work remain the intellectual property of Made By CUX unless otherwise agreed upon.
Whenever possible, you’ll also have full access to the platforms your business uses because I believe your digital assets should always remain yours.
Do I need to know how to use WordPress?
Not at all.
Some clients enjoy managing their own website, while others prefer that I handle everything for them. If you’d like to learn, I’ll teach you how to confidently manage the parts of your website you’ll actually use. If your website is hosted with me, daily backups provide an added layer of protection while you’re learning, giving you peace of mind as you become more comfortable making updates.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Absolutely.
Sometimes a website only needs a fresh design, improved SEO, better mobile responsiveness, or updated content. Other times, a complete rebuild makes more sense. I’ll review your current website and recommend the option that provides the best long-term value rather than automatically suggesting a rebuild.
Do you provide website hosting and maintenance?
Yes.
I offer secure Canadian-managed hosting powered by 100% renewable energy. Hosting includes software updates, daily backups, security monitoring, SSL certificates, performance optimization, and technical support.
If you’d like additional protection, I can also help implement enhanced security measures such as stronger login protection, firewall rules, malware scanning, bot protection, country blocking, rate limiting, and other security features based on your website’s needs.
Do you help with branding and marketing materials?
Yes.
I design logos, brochures, business cards, presentations, print materials, website graphics, and other branded assets to help create a consistent and professional identity for your business.
I also provide foundational SEO, Google Business Profile optimization, and practical website strategies that help improve your online visibility and support your business goals.
How long does it take to build a website?
Every website is different. The timeline depends on the size of the project, the functionality required, and how quickly content and feedback are provided.
A smaller website with only a few pages may be completed within a few weeks, while larger websites with eCommerce, learning platforms, memberships, business directories, booking systems, or custom functionality naturally take longer.
One of the biggest factors is you. The more consistently you’re able to provide your content, images, feedback, and information about your business, the more efficiently I can build your website.
While AI can be a great tool for brainstorming or creating a first draft, it doesn’t know your business the way you do. The strongest websites are built using your knowledge, experience, and personality. Search engines are increasingly rewarding original, helpful content that demonstrates real expertise, so the more authentic information you can provide, the better your website will perform.
If I’m waiting on content or key details, the project timeline will naturally extend. After all, I can’t create a website that’s authentic to your business without understanding what makes it unique.
How do we get started?
Everything starts with my Contact page.
Tell me a little about your business and what you’re looking for, and I’ll get in touch. From there, I’ll recommend the next steps based on your project.
Depending on the type of project, I may send you one or more questionnaires. They’re designed to educate as much as they are to collect information. They help you organize your ideas, define your goals, and think through details that are often overlooked.
Along the way, you’ll find recommended tools, helpful resources, setup checklists, exclusive discount codes, and guidance to help you make informed decisions for your business. Whether you’re launching something new or improving an existing business, the questionnaires help us start with a clear plan and fewer surprises.

My young company UrsaTV obtained artwork, online UX design services and training from the Pink Poppy Parlor. We highly recommend Bridget Cucksey’s Builder Package, which allowed us to create the necessary online infrastructure to support our pilot project seeking to validate the market for an eSports venue in Ottawa. Bridget’s company is well structured to create your online tools, and sustain them with content as you pursue your entrepreneurial objectives. She never sits still… continuously exploring tools, plug-ins and technology that can keep your media timely and relevant. Bridget, perhaps influenced by her military background, is also a great skills teacher often bringing me to the solution I crave through learning. Hiring Pink Poppy Parlor is like getting a new-media mentor. UrsaTV owes a lot, including its logo, to Bridget Cucksey.
